CBD Renew support contract with Swedish International Development Co-operation (Sida)
CBD Communications have great pleasure in announcing a two year continuation of the current Support Contract for the point-to-point LinkwayTM satellite network utilised by the Swedish International Development Co-operation Agency (Sida). The Contract will provide enhanced services and guarantee that the network continues to operate in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, site down-time is kept to the absolute minimum and engineer support is available 24 hours per day.
The SIDA LinkwayTM network provides point-to-point satellite links for voice and data between Sida in Stockholm and twelve remote sites in Africa and Asia. CBD have worked closely with IntelSat and our other suppliers to enable us to ensure the smooth continuance of service for this critical communications network.
